Availability target

portfolIQ targets 99% API availability (monthly). This is not a contractual commitment and no financial penalties apply.

99% monthly uptime corresponds to a maximum of approximately 7.2 hours of downtime per calendar month, including planned maintenance.

1. Availability target

portfolIQ targets 99% monthly API availability measured as the percentage of minutes in a calendar month during which the API returns non-5xx responses to health check probes. This target is aspirational and is not a contractual service level agreement (SLA). No financial compensation or service credits are offered for availability below this target.

2. Planned maintenance

Planned maintenance windows — including database migrations, dependency upgrades, and infrastructure changes — will be announced on status.portfoliq.io at least 48 hours in advance. Planned maintenance is excluded from downtime calculations for the availability target.

3. Status and incident communication

Real-time availability and incident history are published at status.portfoliq.io. In the event of a P0 or P1 incident, the status page will be updated within 30 minutes of incident confirmation.

4. Exclusions

The following are excluded from availability calculations:

  • Force majeure events (Hetzner datacenter outage, internet backbone disruptions, Cloudflare global outages).
  • Scheduled maintenance announced at least 48 hours in advance on the status page.
  • Downtime caused by customer actions (invalid API key, rate limit exhaustion, abusive usage).
  • Third-party data source outages (CoinGecko, FRED, on-chain providers) that affect data freshness but not API reachability.

5. Phase 1 — early access

portfolIQ is currently in early-access (Phase 1). Infrastructure and operational procedures are being established. The 99% availability target applies from the date of general availability announcement. During early access, best-effort availability is provided without formal commitment.
